Subscription terms

This page explains exactly how Selfscope membership is charged and how to stop it. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
What membership includes
Full reports for every Selfscope test, saved to your account, and access to every test on the site. Membership is personal and can't be shared or resold.
Your offer
We try out different prices to find the fairest one, so the offer for your email address is one of these, picked when you first give us your email:
- Trial: 7 days for $1.79 if you start it within 5 minutes of reaching the offer after a test (the page shows the time left), or $1.99 after that. Each test you finish opens a new 5-minute window; reloading the page doesn't restart it.
- After the trial: $6.99 a week, $12.99 a month or $29.99 a month.
Your offer stays the same for your email address; reloading the page doesn't change it. The exact trial price and the price after the trial are shown next to the button before you pay, and they are what you will be charged. We offer one trial per email address. If you have had a Selfscope trial before, a new membership starts at your offer's weekly or monthly price without a trial.
Automatic renewal
When the trial ends, your membership renews automatically at the weekly or monthly price of your offer, charged to the payment method you used, every week or every month (as shown) until you cancel. These terms are shown right above the payment button, and tapping it confirms them. After you pay, we email you a confirmation with your price, these terms and how to cancel.
Reminder
We email you 2 days before your trial ends to remind you of the first charge, its amount, and how to cancel.
How to cancel
You can cancel in any of these ways:
- Sign in at selfscope.app/account, open Subscription and tap “Cancel subscription”. That's all it takes.
- Email [email protected] from your account email, and we'll cancel it for you.
- Delete your account in Settings. This stops the subscription straight away.
When you cancel, you won't be charged again, and we email you a confirmation. You keep access until the end of the trial or the week or month you have already paid for. If you cancel during the trial, the charge after the trial never happens. Closing the page or not using Selfscope doesn't cancel the subscription. Changed your mind? Until the paid period ends, you can turn the subscription back on in your account.
Prices and taxes
Prices are in US dollars and already include any sales tax or VAT, so you pay the price shown on the button. Your bank may add its own fee for payments in a foreign currency. If we ever change the price of your membership, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle will try again over the following days and we may pause access to the reports in the meantime. If it keeps failing, your membership ends. You can update your card from your account.
Who charges you
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. The charge on your card statement comes from Paddle. Receipts come from Paddle, and you can download them from your account.
